It seems like it has been forever since we put a bid on a house. The time has come for us to become home owners. As of June 29th at 4:00PM, we will be proud new home owners! It's been a little rocky to get to this point but only good things are to come.
We got to do a final walk through the night before and I took some much anticipated photos of both the inside and outside of the house. I am sure that one day we will look back on these photos and see what a transformation we have put this little house through. Our little 3 bed room 2 full bath will soon be our home.
There is lots of painting, cleaning and renovating of the house that must be done but! That's the fun part.
I am planning to do more of these "behind the scenes" of the Bam Magic clan. It just can take me a while to get the videos together some times.
Here is a video from our Lancaster Show. Jon Whaley actually came a long to help so you will see a new face.
This post is long over due but I have finally had some time to make some videos. My little brother graduated from Bryan College in Dayton Tennessee this spring with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications. I am so proud of him and am sure that he will be very successful throughout life.
I made two separate videos for our trip!
Spring time brings many new things. Things are definitely looking up especially with a new house on the horizon. Today, as I was sitting in my living room, every one in a while I would here all of these birds squawking at once. When I went to see what the commotion was all about, I noticed a little nest of hatched birds above the Christmas wreath in our car port. I couldn't help but t smile and bird watch for a little while.
Planning a wedding can be so fun. I have to admit that I really haven't done much planning but love every moment I have to do some planning. I went with my girls earlier this week to try on some dresses and make some memories.
I truely admit that this past week has been one of the most challenging weeks that I have ever had to go through. Both Patrick and I lost our jobs 2 days apart and are left feeling like we don't know where to go from here.
Having to go through this has shown the us how God is our light in darkness. Our friends and families have been there for us, showing us love and support.
You never realize how fast your life can change in an instant. Remaining strong and praying for those who have hurt us, truely helps to soften the heart.
We were able to finish our video entry for a local tv station's wedding giveaway contest. The winner will be chosen on February 10th.
We know that whatever hard times that we encounter along the way, that God will remain true. He will not allow us to handle more than we can handle.
I reminded of this verse: Psalm 46 v 1 ” God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble “.
Here is our video for the contest.
It was Brett's Birthday weekend over January 4th. His birthday weekend consisted of playing Super Smash Brothers, a magic show and a Hibachi Grill. Here is a video of our fun time at the Hibachi Grill. Gotta love the fried rice!
Every body always has something traditional that they do with their family and friends on New Year's Eve. Well, for me and my family...we go bowling!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
