Remember the annoying singing Burger King Man? Well...just for the Holidays, I have found him. I realize that it is going to be extremely annoying that every time when my blog loads that there he will be singing about apple pies...but I can't help but to look back and smile on this old flash animation.
I know that this is long over due. I have been so busy with so much and haven't had time to update or edit video. Especially since Thanksgiving is so close to my birthday. Just want to say thank you to every one who made my birthday so special. You know who you are. Many many years to come.
Meet my newest obsession. 6 Shiba Inu puppies- 3 boys, 3 girls. Typically they play for about a half hour and sleep for an hour...but it has to be one of the greatest things ever. Ever time I check out these puppies they make me smile.
This is LIVE steaming video of the days of these little puppies.
One of the other fun things that we got to do while Brett & Katie were home was go to Hershey Park in the Dark. So me, Patrick, Brett, Katie and Roger all packed up and headed to Hershey, PA for a fun experience. It really wasn't that cold and the longest line that we had to wait in was 15 mins. It was so much fun even though I had a cold.
We always laugh till our sides hurt when we all go on road trips like this.
Check out the video below.
Brett & Katie came home for fall break this past week so we had a lot of fun things that we wanted to cram into 7 days. One of those things being a Ghost Walk in Gettysburg. Since I am really into the video blogging, I didn't hesitate in taking my camera along to document the experience. Over all the Ghostwalk was pretty fun. We didn't hear or see anything paranormal but learned a little bit about our neighboring town of Gettysburg. You never know whether to believe half of the stores you hear because most likely all the stories are exaggerated for entertainment purposes.
Check out the video!
Last week Patrick, myself and my parents all went to Hersheypark. We had absolutely perfect weather and pretty much rode every rollercoster and ride that we came to ride. Of course, I took my digital camera into the park with me but nothing as exciting the Kings Dominion trip happened.
You can watch the video below.
By the way, Being engaged is great. It was great telling everyone about our news and even greater now since reality is setting in. I can't stop looking at my ring. However, I took the ring back to the jewelry store to get it resized but will be getting it back in about 12 hours. It's been a little stressful and over whelming every now again with the pressure of finding a house but there is no rush. Keep us in your prayers as Patrick and I are in search of the perfect house, for the perfect price at the perfect location.
Saturday, September 13th 2008 Patrick and I embarked on a journey to Doswell, VA to Kings Dominion. I have been waiting all summer to go to an amusement park and thank goodness we decided to go this weekend. It was actually the last day of the season.
We had picture perfect weather and not to mention not many lines to wait in. I had the bright idea of taking my camera along with me into the park to do a video blog of our experience at Kings Dominion. All day I got video of this and video of that. At the end of the day I told Patrick that I wanted to stop in one of the gift stores to get a t shirt. Then I told him that I wanted to do a "in conclusion" clip of how much fun we had. Well...little did I know what was in store next.
I call this "Kings Dominion with a Twist"
That's right! We are engaged and it was a total surprise. He couldn't have made the entire day more perfect. He proposed to me infront of the water fountains in front of the Kings Dominion sign at sunset. I was in such shock that I think some of the first things that I said was....What? Are You Serious? --Then I realized that I needed to give him an answer, which of course YES! He later told me that he hasn't been able to sleep for the past 3 nights straight and that it's the most nerve wrecking thing to ask your best friend to marry you.
The only people who new he was going to propose was his parents, my parents and my brother. I called my parents first to tell them the good news and second I called Brett(my brother). As I was telling Brett how everything happened, I all of a sudden heard a loud,"YAY!!!!!!!!!!!" I said to Brett, "Who is that?" in which he responded, "It definitely wasn't me." Turns out that I was on speakerphone the entire time and Katie(Brett's gf) was sitting right there listening to everything. Patrick sent Brett an email the night before telling him what he was going to do the next day so as soon as Katie found out she told Brett that she wanted to be there whenever I called. How cute.
We are soooo excited and have been talking all future/wedding stuff. It's all a little overwhelming at the moment but exciting at the same time. It has't totally sunken in, even after 24 hours. I have pretty much told everyone and if you are reading this and I didn't tell you, it's nothing personal.
Keep Patrick and I in your prayers! Thanks to all my friends and family who have congratulated us and made us feel special.
About the Ring: It's a half karat diamond, white gold
Have you guys set a date yet? No, but we are thinking sometime next fall. Don't want to rush things or get stressed over making plans. It's supposed to be a fun and exciting time in our lives and we want to make sure that we keep it that way.
How many bridesmaid are you going to have? Probably 3-4
Do you want a big wedding? Not really. I want to make sure that I get to mingle with everyone.
Are you guys getting an apartment or a house? We are looking to buy a house but will not settle until we find the right house for the right price, location, and space.
How any times have you looked down at your ring? Too many times to count.
Don't you love being the center of attention? Not really. I can be somewhat shy at times.
Would you believe that when we told my grandparents and great aunt and uncle at lunch on Sunday after church that they applauded!?
This year I had the opportunity to help out with VBS at my church. I was told that I would be in charge of decorating a room. Not just any room! But a volcano room. So me, Brett, Katie and Patrick made a volcano/cavern room. Here is a video of the tour.
Patrick and I have been so busy this summer with all our ball playing. Patrick has been coaching a little league team since the middle of May and we have running from this game to that game. In the middle of all the excitement the all star playoffs games have arrived. I decided to use temporary hair color to support our team! Go West End!
To give a quick recap the west all stars won 3 games and lost 2. Unfortunately, you will not be seeing them in the little league world series. It was fun having green hair for a day. My boss said that I was that I was the last person that he expected to show up to work with green hair.
I have discovered the newest and most economical efficiency in pet mobility. I present to you the bunny jeep featuring Elvis the bunny. Actually this remote control jeep was bought and customized for a chinchilla to take the wheel. The chinchilla named pikachu did not feel so comfortable driving such a large vehicle so we let Elvis the bunny take the wheel and he seemed to fit very comfortably in the customized jeep.
