So I have decided that I am going to start updating this again. It seems like it has been forever
since I have had a chance to post anything. Not all that much has changed. I've just been very busy. The New Stuff
I have braces now. I am in the process of buying a base guitar. I got a brand new macbook pro! I got a new keyboard and mouse for Christmas.
Same Old Stuff
I still work at the same place. I still drive the same car. I still have a wonderful boyfriend who takes good care of me.
So I have something new and exciting to share. Ever heard of a Chinchilla? Well they are an animal which in my
opinion is cross between a squirrel, rabbit and mouse. My brother just got 2 baby chinchillas to use for in his magic shows. They are quite entertaining and are very soft. Probably the softest animal that I have ever felt. Seeing a Chinchilla take a dust bath has got to be one of the most funniest things.
In the future, I am going to try to update as much as possible as well as post video and pictures. :-) Sounds like a fun year ahead.
We celebrated by eating some home cooked lasagna and trading gifts. I got a beautiful pair of ruby/diamond heart earrings.
So much has been happening lately. I have gone snow skiing twice this year. I have gotten much better since my first time last year. I am also a part time web designer and have designed 2 sites that aren't live yet because the client is still approving but I think they turned out well. There are 2 magic shows that I know in the near future.
So tell me...why does everyone over react when they hear we're getting 3-6 inches of snow? I know it's been kinda a mild 2 past winters but my goodness. I drove past 2 grocery stores last night and they were packed full of people panicking and picking of food for survival. All the schools are either cancelled or getting out early. And yet...the news never sleeps-hence why I am at work. It's ok though because in the real world we don't get "snow days."
VALENTINE'S Day is tomorrow. Sooooo excited-although I am really wondering how this snow/ice storm will affect this lovers holiday. People every where around the 4 state area won't receive their roses and chocolates from their honey. None the less-I am prepared to give my sweetheart his gifts.
So this is pretty much the first time I have updated this year. I was in Disney World from Dec 27th-Jan 3rd. It was sooooo much fun. I got to do everything that I've always done every other year except this time I got to share it all with my very best friend.
Review time:
There are a few new things at Disney World that I must recomment or suggest doing while there.
Animal Kingdom- Expedition Everest is a neat experience but not one of my favorites although it is one of the newest attractions at the Disney World Resort. It reminded me a lot of Thunder Mountain. Finding Nemo: The Musical is a must sea!
Epcot- As always Test Track was great and while standing line I learned that I hate fast pass. It's just not fun to watch all the people pass you in line when they have a fast pass and you don't. Mission Space was great and a new edition to this ride is that they have split it into 2 missions which now provides guests with the choice of riding the original, high G version, or the new mild version. The seas has been remodled and is better than ever. Be sure to see Turtle Talk with Crush-this was probably one my most favorite things we did while there. Reflections of Earth(fireworks) is always breathtaking.
Magic Kindom- Be sure to watch Wishes(fireworks). Makes me almost tear up everytime.
MGM Studios- Lights, Motors, Action is a must see along with Tower of Terror and Rockin' Rollercoaster.
My trip was sooooo fun and I was glad to be able to go after all of tragic occurences that happened leading up to our trip. I got sick on the plain ride there. Not sure if it was the cause of the mixture of orange juice, M &M's and Starbursts that did it or what.
I got 4 tickets to go see David Copperfield on May 16th. This will be my 3rd time in row and I have much appreciation for magic & illusion. I will only be taking people who appreciate magic the most. Of course my best friend will be coming since he's never seen David Copperfield LIVE. My dream is still to meet David Copperfield, get his autograph and have my picture taken with him.
